On June 1st, the 8th Mechanized Cavalry Regiment (8th RC Mec) held the operational readiness of its ready-position subunit, the FORSUL (Força de Prontidão Sul – Southern Readiness Force) Squadron.
The 8th RC Mec Command has determined the verification of the readiness state of the ready-position fraction, with the exhibition of individual material, as well as the collective preparation of the fractions, as a way to prepare for the certification exercises of the FORSUL in June and July of this year.
The verification of operational readiness is one of the activities foreseen in the Land Operations Command’s Military Instruction Plan, with the objective of maintaining the operational readiness of the troops.
