Resende (RJ) – From November 27 to December 1, the Eastern Military Command (CML), through the 1st Army Division (1st DE), will carry out Operation Encore, the last stage of the certification of the Readiness Force (FORPRON) of the School Units Group – 9th Motorized Infantry Brigade (GUES – 9th Bda Inf Mtz).
In the live simulation phase, the East Training Center (East CA) verifies the training of the troops in a field exercise on the training grounds of the Academia Militar das Agulhas Negras (AMAN).
Operation ENCORE has the participation of about 1500 men, together with more than 170 vehicles and several modern pieces of equipment, such as the RBS 70 anti-aircraft missile, the SABER M60 radar, and the LINCE and GUARANI armored vehicles, among others.
The Chief of Land Force Readiness, Division General Alexandre Oliveira Cantanhede Lago, honored the activity, accompanied by the Commander of the School Units Group – 9th Motorized Infantry Brigade, Brigadier General Ricardo Luiz da Cunha Rabelo.
