From June 6th to 11th, the 34th Mechanized Infantry Battalion conducted the End of Preparation Phase Exercise of the 3rd Cycle of the Readiness Force. The Exercise has the purpose of concentrating the troops of the Readiness Force Battalion of the 15th Mechanized Infantry Brigade in the region of Foz do Iguaçu.

The training included an initial phase with instructions on communications, combat group maneuverability, execution of live fire, etc. Finally, an 87 km mechanized combat march was conducted with the MSR 6×6 Guarani armored personnel carrier. Two coordinated attacks were also carried out, day and night. The exercise was attended by the Commander of the 15th Mechanized Infantry Brigade, Brigadier General Americo.

The objective of the Readiness Force is to prepare the troops for the Readiness Cycle, making them able to operate in real missions of conventional combat, operations to ensure law and order, and interagency operations.
