Rio de Janeiro (RJ) – On November 26th and 27th, the Gericinó Training Field (CIG) hosted the Brazil Cup of Tactical Defense Shooting – 2022, a national level championship held by the National League of Tactical Defense Shooting (www.liganacionaltdt.com) through the Vila Militar Shooting Academy (www.atvm.com.br), which counted with the participation of 121 shooters from several states, including shooters of the PcD category (wheelchair users, walkers and amputees).
Tactical Defense Shooting is a dynamic shooting modality that was developed by members of the Military Circle Military Village Shooting Department and is already established in several states in the country. The champion of the event was Colonel R/1 Mauricio Real Ferreira, a veteran of the 1994 class of the Academia Militar das Agulhas Negras (AMAN), showing that our reserve is still active.
During the Brazil Cup of Tactical Defense Shooting, the Gericinó Training Camp held a demonstration of the War Dogs Section for all those present.
