Rio de Janeiro (RJ) – The Army Evaluation Center (CAEx) supported, between November 29 and December 2, the exercise of the Amphibious Vehicle Battalion and the Marine Armored Battalion (Btl Bld Fuz Nav) of the Brazilian Navy (MB). Military personnel from the Test Section of the CAEx Material Evaluation Division and Navy personnel participated.

The exercise was conducted on Line I, designed for the use of weapons and ammunition up to a range of 6 km, and included the firing of SK105 A2S combat cars and Browning .50 and MAG Coaxial 7.62 mm machine guns from Btl Bld Fuz Nav.

The Amphibious Track Car garrisons were also trained, using the vehicle’s organic weaponry and the individual and collective weapons of the Amphibious Vehicle Battalion.

The training showed the cooperation and interoperability of the Armed Forces, with the participation of the Army’s Science, Technology, and Innovation System, for the benefit of Brazil’s defense mission.
