Louisiana (USA) – In the early morning of August 12 to 13, the CORE Company made the preparations for the aeromobile assault together with North American soldiers from the 2/506 Battalion.
Several activities were set in motion, such as the preparation of the material, division and embarkation of the troops in waves of Chinook and Black Hawk aircraft. After receiving the blessings from the US military chaplain, wishing them the necessary protection to accomplish the mission, military personnel from both countries embarked and proceeded to fly to the objective area. The unity and cohesion of the troops to accomplish the mission was evident.
Following the Aeromobile Assault, CORE Company proceeded to maintain the aeromobile bridgehead, along with troops from the 101st Airborne Division.
This combined rotation exercise demonstrates, once again, the professional competence and reliability that Brazilian troops possess in international military exchanges. Exercise CORE 22 will continue in U.S. territory until the beginning of September.
