Latin America’s largest urban combat qualification conference takes place from September 16 to 18 in Itu (SP)
W2C Brazil has prepared for 2022 a true marathon of qualification content, training, exchange of experiences and practical clinics aimed at members of the national defense and public safety.
The event – consolidated as a reference for professionals of the segment – will take place on September 16, 17 and 18 at BASE Armalite, in Itu/SP, considered one of the largest and most complete areas for shooting practice in Latin America. The numbers of the event are impressive: 03 three days of activities, 11 lectures with high performance professionals, 72 practical clinics involving the biggest national and international names, more than 30 authorities and official committees confirmed and more than 600 police instructors of weapons and shooting from all over the country. Last year, the event gathered 1,600 participants. This year, it is expected to exceed the 2,000 mark.
The event is aimed at private security agents with valid professional certification, members of the Public Ministry and the Judiciary, members of the Armed Forces, public security professionals, and sports marksmen with valid RCs¹.
Program
Among the highlights of the first day of the event is the panel “The relationship between the press and public security,” mediated by journalist Luís Ernesto Lacombe, with the participation of authorities, among them Major Boaventura, Commander of BOPE-BA, Lt. Col. Maurílio Nunes, former commander of BOPE-RJ, and his successor, Lt. Col.
The schedule for Saturday and Sunday includes clinics for urban tactical training, with the highlight being the presence of martial arts legend Royce Gracie, who will act with Tactical Immobilizations, as well as names like Luiz Charneski, Thyago Almeida, Edilaine Mansueto, and Rogério Nogueira, who will address retention and counter retention of long weapons, pistol combat, female self-defense, and survival shooting and combat. High-level practical clinics, such as LowLight and Planning for Night Operations, Application of Parachuting in Police Operations, and Vehicle Combat are also part of the program.
Fair and exhibition
Besides the theoretical and practical content, the participants can find in a single place the news and trends in terms of products and equipment, such as weapons, ammunition, PPE, accessories, presented by leading global brands, such as Springfield Armory, Mahrte, CBC, Taurus, Lock Perfection, Invictus Tactical and BASE Armalite.
