MBDA, the European leader in missiles, is showcasing decisive air dominance capabilities delivered to our nations’ armed forces at the Farnborough International Air Show 2024 (FIA 2024), from July 22 to 26.

During FIA2024, MBDA will demonstrate its leadership in the skies with its unparalleled range of air dominance, air defense and air attack capabilities. Only MBDA has the technologies and expertise to deliver world-class, European-designed missile systems that offer reliable superiority across the full spectrum of these capabilities.

Air dominance – MBDA’s cutting-edge technologies and collaborative approach with customers have resulted in an unrivaled portfolio of air-to-air armaments. The ASRAAM, MICA and Meteor missiles will all be showcased during Farnborough and continue to evolve to meet new challenges, ensuring that air forces have the tools they need to protect the skies now and in the future. Together, they form the core of Europe’s air dominance capabilities on its main air combat platforms: Eurofighter Typhoon, Rafale, Gripen and F-35, as well as new international platforms such as the KF-21.

Air defense – During FIA2024, MBDA will present new and innovative air defense capabilities, focusing on the new threat of drones and the demand for new very short-range air defense (VSHORAD) capabilities. New effectors for the Sky Warden drone solution will be unveiled, as well as a new VSHORAD missile. MBDA is the only European company capable of offering systems for all layers of air defense, from C-UAS and directed energy weapons, such as DragonFire, to ballistic missile defense and hypersonic defense.

Air Attack – At FIA2024, MBDA will demonstrate the major advances it has made in its Orchestrike artificial intelligence tool for collaborative attack weapons. For the first time, a live demonstrator including real missile hardware and new datalinks enabled by artificial intelligence will allow military users to take part in a unique simulated raid, where missiles react collaboratively and in real time to developments in a tactical situation thanks to Orchestrike.

MBDA will also bring its innovative spirit through its “Collaborate to Innovate” stand (Hall 1, Stand 1230), which will serve as a hub for small and medium-sized companies, research and technology organizations, universities, commercial organizations, laboratories and institutes to come together and build relationships and partnerships that promote innovation and technical excellence.

At MBDA, our people are our greatest strength. It is their innovation, their passion, their team spirit, their commitment and their integrity that underpin all our work supporting our nations in defending our shared values.
