SIATT, a leading Brazilian company in Integrated Systems of High Technological Content, has announced an extensive restructuring and expansion of its facilities, a new milestone in its path of development and technological innovation. The expansion, which should be completed in two years, is the result of a strategic partnership with the EDGE Group, a state-owned conglomerate from the United Arab Emirates, which has been a shareholder in SIATT since September.
The company’s headquarters will remain in São José dos Campos, one of Brazil’s main technology hubs. The activities that currently operate in the Technological Innovation Park (PIT) will be transferred to an area near the Presidente Dutra Highway, in the Limoeiro district, expanding its physical facilities from 1,000 square meters to around 7,000 square meters. This new building will house the Administrative, Engineering and Production areas.
During this process, the number of jobs in the company will almost double, reaching more than 200 direct employees. Most of these professionals will be highly qualified talents with university degrees.
It is also estimated that more than 600 indirect jobs will be created, including service providers, partner companies and suppliers.

The announcement of SIATT’s expansion plan was made during a visit by a delegation made up of representatives from the São Paulo state government and São José dos Campos City Hall to the EDGE Group’s headquarters in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The four-day agenda included a series of meetings with the Group’s leaders and other key stakeholders in Abu Dhabi, with the aim of strengthening cooperation and facilitating possible future strategic partnerships.
For Hamad Al Marar, president of EDGE Group’s Missiles and Weapons cluster, the expansion of SIATT’s facilities in São José dos Campos is proof of EDGE’s key role in promoting the Brazilian company’s growth. “This transformation not only strengthens SIATT’s capabilities, but also serves as a catalyst for economic development, which is expected to generate many hundreds of direct and indirect job opportunities.
