On June 15 and 16, an activity in the field was carried out by the Infantry Course of the Escuela de Perfeccionamiento y Capacitación de Oficiales (EPCO) of the Uruguayan Army, in which participated Captain Patrick Lomboni Rodrigues and Captain Marcus Vinicius Campos Siqueira, who are serving as instructors and students of the Perfeccionamiento y Capacitación de Oficiales Course, respectively, in that friendly nation.
The exercise consisted of a staff work by the officer-students of the Course, in which it was possible to ratify and/or rectify previous plans, based on observations in the field. The activity also allowed for an important exchange of tactical and technical information among the participants.
The participation of Brazilian military personnel in these activities confirms the importance of exchanging knowledge and experiences, as well as consolidating cooperation between the Armies, in compliance with their Strategic Objectives in the International Area.
