Uruguaiana (RS) – The 2nd Mechanized Cavalry Brigade, the Parachute Infantry Brigade, the 12th Light Infantry Brigade, the Army Aviation Command and the Special Operations Command participated in a constructive simulation exercise, in the context of Operation Arandu, at the Operational Education Directorate of the Argentine Army, in the province of Buenos Aires, from September 19 to 23. The activity consisted of a combined exercise between the Brazilian Army and the Argentine Army, approaching the staff work at the brigade and unit levels.
During the exercise, the Brazilian and Argentinean committees also coordinated the field exercise, to be held in the Monte Caseros Field of Instruction, from July 31 to August 4, 2023, which will crown the Cycle 2021-2023.
Operation Arandu, besides being an excellent opportunity for doctrinal exchange and interoperability between the two Armies, provides the strengthening of the bonds of friendship and cooperation between the two nations.
