Atech, a company from the Embraer group, received at its facilities in Rio de Janeiro, the visit of a committee from the Nigerian Navy and the Brazilian Ministry of Defense, last Monday, September 12. The authorities got to know the company’s solutions and technologies related to command and control systems (C4IVR) for maritime surveillance.
On the occasion, they visited the facilities of the future Test and Integration of Combat Systems (CMS) and Integrated Platform Management (IPMS) Laboratories of the Tamandaré Class Frigate Ship Program (PFCT). The committee was welcomed by Vinicius Meng and Marcos Cesar M. Pinto, from Atech’s Business Development area.
The Ministry of Defense was represented by the Secretary of Defense Products (Seprod), Division General Luis Antônio Duizit Brito, and Rear Admiral Wagner Belarmino. The visit of the military of the Nigerian Navy to Brazilian companies is part of the MD’s effort to promote the strengthening of the national Defense Industrial Base (BID), in the search for new business and opportunities in the international market.
