Scheduled to land in the Brazilian federal capital on Sunday (16), the delegation from the Italian Ministry of Defense is coming to Brazil to conduct a technical visit to the institutions of the Brazilian Defense Industrial Base. The event will take place between September 20 and 23 in Brasilia and Rio de Janeiro. The mission aims to strengthen the relations between the two countries in the area of Defense Products, to learn about the capabilities of the Brazilian industrial sector, and to identify possible areas of cooperation of common interest.
The program in Brasilia includes a visit to the facilities of the Ministry of Defense (MD) and a meeting with the minister, presentations of the structures and work of the Armed Forces, as well as the strategic projects of the Secretariat of Defense Products. In Rio de Janeiro, the Italian delegation will visit the Navy’s General Directorate of Material, the Naval Projects Management Company, the Condor Company of Non-Lethal Technologies, and the Itaguaí Naval Complex.
