Taurus, Strategic Defense Company and the largest seller of light weapons in the world, is launching two more innovative products on the Brazilian market: the TS9 pistol and the compact TS9c, in 9mm caliber, both in Graphene version.
The novelties were presented exclusively at LAAD Defence & Security 2023, which took place from April 11 to 14, 2023, at Riocentro, in Rio de Janeiro.
The already established Striker TS9 platform now has all the benefits of the innovative graphene technology, expanding the portfolio of the 3rd generation of pistols. In addition, Taurus is launching the compact version TS9c Graphene combining robustness and practicality, ideal for veiled carry.
The weapons that make up the Striker TS9 platform meet the rigorous quality and safety standards required by the world’s most qualified military and police forces. The watertight system against dust, sand, and mud guarantees its efficiency in the most adverse situations.
The new models, besides having parts injected with graphene and Cerakote® Graphene finish, which brings much more resistance and durability to the guns, are equipped with Picatinny rail to provide the coupling of accessories and adapt their operation.
They have interchangeable backstraps, which allow the customer to adjust the size of the grip to perfectly fit his or her hand, and Striker Fire firing system with a thrown percussor.
The TS9 Graphene pistol is suitable for the military, police, personal defense and shooting sports segments, has a 4″ barrel and a capacity of 17 shots. The compact version TS9c, on the other hand, is aimed at police, military and personal defense use, has a 3.7″ barrel and capacity for 13 and 17-shot magazines. Its size and weight provide more lightness and agility in handling, ideal for carrying undercover.
The new products make Taurus’ portfolio even more complete and prepared to meet the needs of consumers and Brazilian police and military institutions.
