Taurus, a Brazilian multinational and one of the world’s largest sellers of firearms, is attending IWA & Outdoor Classics 2024, Europe’s largest trade fair for the hunting, shooting, outdoor and security markets. The event takes place between February 29 and March 3 in the city of Nuremberg, Germany.

On this occasion, the company will be presenting its broad portfolio of products and launches on a stand covering more than 500 m², located in a prominent area, shared with other Group brands in the international civilian market, including Companhia Brasileira de Cartuchos (CBC), Rossi, Sinterfire, Sellier & Bellot (S&B) and MEN.

At the stand, welcoming visitors, are executives Salesio Nuhs, Taurus Global CEO; Bret Vorhees, Taurus USA CEO; Justin Porlier, Taurus USA Vice President of Sales; Eduardo Minghelli, Taurus Supply Chain Director; Regis Jacobsen, Taurus International Sales Manager; Leonardo Sesti, Taurus Engineering and Quality Director; Emerson Luiz de Souza and Andre Silveira Kennes, Taurus International Sales Executives; as well as Taurus USA representatives.

With a management focused on technology and innovation, Taurus is exhibiting pioneering products developed at its Brazil/United States Integrated Technology and Engineering Center (CITE), such as the GX4 Carry pistol with the unprecedented graphene technology; and the Taurus Defender RT 856 and RT 605 revolvers, with the revolutionary T.O.R.O. (Taurus Optic Ready Option) system, which are part of the world’s first line of revolvers ready to receive optical sights.

Germany has a very traditional and experienced hunting market and, in line with the characteristics of the event, Taurus is exhibiting the HUNT line, a diversified collection that expands the Raging Hunter series on the international market, a reference in revolvers for hunting and leisure, made up of calibers such as the .454 Casull, .44 Magnum, .357 Magnum and the powerful .460 S&W Magnum. In this line, the company is exhibiting the Taurus 460H Raging Hunter, Taurus 44H Raging Hunter, Taurus 454H Raging Hunter and Taurus 357H Raging Hunter.

Visitors will also be able to check out the models that make up the G3 series of semi-automatic pistols in 9mm calibre, including the G3c, G3 T.O.R.O., G3X and G3XL; the robust PT92 with an aluminium frame; and the TS9 pistol, from the TS series, recognized worldwide for its application in the police and military segments.

Among the Taurus revolvers specially developed for the hunting and leisure market, the RT 444 Raging Bull, RT 627 Tracker, RT 689 and RT 44 stand out. The company is also exhibiting models from the Taurus line of Rossi-brand revolvers, recognized for their classic features and modern manufacturing techniques, including the RM64, RM66 and RP63.

In the Taurus line of tactical weapons, the company is presenting the T10 Lighitweight Precision to the German civilian public for the first time, an extremely light semi-automatic precision rifle with a 20-inch barrel in the .308 Win/7.62×51 caliber. In addition to the T4 assault rifle, well known in tactical operations, which will be on display at the event in its semi-automatic versions, aimed at sports shooters and hunters, in the 5.56 and .300 BLK calibers.

In addition to the complete Taurus product portfolio, recognized in Brazil and internationally for its high quality standards and which meets the needs of hunters, sports shooters and the European public in general.

The IWA & Outdoor Classics is another great opportunity and showcase to expose products to the German and European markets, highlighting the quality, technology and innovation present in Taurus weapons, which set them apart in the global market.

Germany is among the countries with the highest number of guns on the world civilian market, ranking 8th on the list, according to the NGO Small Arms Survey of 2018, the most recent data.

Sport shooting also has a tradition in the country. The Schützenverein, or Shooters’ Society, has around 15,000 clubs and 1.5 million members (shooters), making it the third largest sports organization in the country.

The fair is also attended by consumers from Germany’s neighboring countries with a significant civilian market, such as the Czech Republic, Poland, France and Italy. In 2023, IWA & Outdoor Classics welcomed a total of 34,000 visitors from 119 countries.

Taurus has been an exhibitor for several years at this traditional exhibition in Europe, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year.
