Strategic Defense Company certified by the Brazilian Ministry of Defense will discuss technologies aimed at preventing and fighting crime at an event in Minas Gerais

  • Note: In Brazil, the police are state bodies whose constitutional purpose is to preserve public order, protect people and property, investigate and repress crimes and control violence. In this context, the Military Police plays an important role, since it also stands out as a state public force, striving for zeal, honesty and correctness of purpose in order to protect citizens, society and public and private property, curbing criminal offenses and administrative infractions.

Solutions capable of monitoring criminal networks through Artificial Intelligence, performing facial recognition and keyword recognition and monitoring social media are some of the technologies present in Dígitro Tecnologia’s intelligence platform, which will be presented between February 26 and 29, 2024, during the 1st National Workshop on Intelligence for Brazil’s Military Police. The event will take place in the city of Caeté, in the interior of Minas Gerais, and will bring together representatives of the intelligence agencies of the Military Police from all Brazilian states.

Dígitro is a leader in the development of technologies for the Public Security sector and is certified by the Ministry of Defense as a Strategic Defense Company in Brazil. According to Octavio Carradore, Dígitro’s Market Relations Director, the company will be there demonstrating its solutions and the added results for intelligence agencies.

“With the technologies we currently provide to the Military Police through our intelligence platform, it is possible to monitor criminal networks and carry out systemic processing of the data captured. In this way, intelligence agencies are able to develop tasks between different teams, from different corporations, passing on relevant and strategic information to the relevant bodies,” Carradore points out. As well as demonstrating its solutions, Dígitro will also give a talk on the impact of technology on Public Security and how the use of technology can generate relevant results for ostentatious policing.

The event is also expected to be attended by Commanders General of the Military Police, representatives of the Ministry of Justice and the Public Prosecutor’s Office, as well as professionals and organizations that provide services and solutions for Public Security.
