The main urban combat and shooting sports event gathers the main companies of the sector in a fair that is expected to exceed the 2 thousand visitors mark

The World Combat Conference (W2C), the biggest security event in Brazil, brings together next month the main news and trends in the tactical market and equipment for professionals and sports shooters. The main brands in the tactical and military operational sector will be present and promise to present their latest innovations in their booths. Visitors will be able to check out the new releases and interact with representatives from Taurus, Companhia Brasileira de Cartuchos (CBC), Springfield, Invictus Tactical, among other major companies and world leaders.

The W2C Brazil conference takes place from September 16 to 18 in Itu (SP), and will bring together lectures, clinics, experiences and exhibitions about the best and most advanced in urban combat. In the last edition of the event, there were more than 1,600 registered participants.

Launchings

Taurus, world leader in the manufacturing of revolvers and one of the largest producers of pistols in the world, brings to visitors the company’s complete line of products. Among the novelties are the GX4 Graphene pistol, the first gun in the world with graphene in the composition of its components and which marks the beginning of the 3rd generation of pistols, and the T4 rifle in .300 Blackout caliber in two versions, with 9-inch or 16-inch barrels. Also on display will be the TH9 pistol, from the renowned TSeries line of weapons, and the 1911 pistol in the 9mm version.

In the revolvers line, the main models RT 608, RT 627 and Ranging Hunter 44H stand out, especially developed for the hunting and leisure market. And in the carbine line, Taurus will exhibit the CT9 and CTT40 models.

Companhia Brasileira de Cartuchos (CBC), one of the largest global manufacturers of weapons and ammunition, will show at W2C more than 60 long guns, including firearms and pressure rifles, and more than 2 thousand rounds of ammunition, among different calibers and projectile configurations, from .22LR to medium caliber military ammunition. The company’s complete portfolio will be on display, with products aimed at sports, leisure, defense, and security. Among the new releases, the .22WMR ammunition in FMJ and JHP versions (ogival and expansive), the .22WMR Magnum rifle with wooden and polypropylene stocks, besides special editions like the .22WMR Magnum rifle and the Lever Action .357Mag carbine, both from the series commemorating the 200 years of Brazilian Independence, and the Pump Military rifle with a 14″ barrel, from the CBC 96 years special series. Also on display will be the .22LR Rifles, Semi-automatic Tactical, Lever Action Rio Bravo and Pump Action, Polymatch training ammunition and the new generation of CBC Pro Shock ammunition.

Another new feature that will be present at W2C will be the Hellion rifle from Springfield Armory. Featuring a “bullpup” configuration where the action is located behind the trigger, the Hellion rifle has an overall length of just 28.25 inches while still having a 16-inch barrel. The Hellion features ambidextrous controls that work in conjunction with a reversible box ejection system, allowing it to be easily fired from any shoulder. Unlike a traditional long gun, the bullpup system moves the action and magazine behind the trigger in the normally unused butt area. By doing so, it dramatically reduces the overall length, while still allowing you to have a long barrel that is 16″ long enough to maintain effective downrange performance.

The Springfield Armory Hellion offers shooters a semi-automatic version in 5.56x45mm caliber making this firearm highly capable and above all compact.

The Springfield Armony also brings the new Hellcat® Pro, a compact pistol in 9mm caliber that offers 15+1 capacity in a smaller size than any other gun in its class. Designed to offer the best of both worlds, the Hellcat Pro offers full-size performance in a concealable, Mira Optica-ready package. The result is a gun that delivers more firepower in a smaller space than any other gun in its class.

Professional and Lifestyle Gear

GLOCK, one of the main pistol manufacturers in the world, used by Brazilian police forces such as the Military Police of São Paulo, Civil Police of Rio de Janeiro, Federal Highway Patrol and Federal Police, among others, will also be present at W2C with its product line. A pioneer in the use of polymer in its construction, GLOCK counts on the Safe Action System, with three sequential and automatic locks, activated from the trigger, which guarantees total safety while maintaining the confidence of an equipment always ready. Over time its original 1980 design had only improvements, today having only 34 pieces.

Invictus Tactical also returns to W2C with its entire line of clothing and accessories. A novelty is the Hidden Line, launched this year, composed of sweatpants and shorts that can be used in training, at the beach or any leisure moment and, because they have belt loops on the inside of the waistband, they allow the operator to use the tactical belt internally and carry out the veiled carry safely, using casual clothes in spare moments. Other recent launches that will also be exhibited at W2C are the Focus Tactical Glasses, with anti-fog lenses and UV400 protection, and the Motion Line, which introduces the Tactical Wear concept to the market, with pants and shorts that unite the robustness of rip-stop fabric with the flexibility of elastane, resulting in ideal products for extreme activities or casual use.

Founded in 2019 with the goal of being the largest retail store in the tactical, operational, and adventure segment in the country, Mahrte, which has two stores in the city of São Paulo announces that it will inaugurate its third store at the Armalite Base, venue of the event, during the W2C. The novelty seeks to foster business and create partnership possibilities, besides bringing the brand closer to the shooter and the public who loves this universe.

International novelties in the 2022 edition

For the first time at the event, King Cobra Coldres, will bring its products and novelties to W2C. The company supplies NATO’s armed forces and special forces, with 100% of the production made in Italy. Also confirmed is the presence of Openland Tactical N.ER.G., which specializes in supplying tactical equipment worldwide and offers customized products at the customer’s request. It is currently one of the few companies supplying the Vatican State, in particular the Pope’s Close Protection Team and the G.I.R. (Rapid Intervention Group) of the Vatican Gendarmerie.
