The Minister of Defense, Paulo Sérgio Nogueira de Oliveira, met today (23), at the headquarters of the Department, with the Commanders of the Armed Forces. On the occasion, institutional and national issues were discussed, as well as the strategic projects of the Armed Forces.
The Commandant of the Navy, Admiral of Fleet Almir Garnier Santos; the Commander of the Army, Army General Marco Antônio Freire Gomes; the Commander of the Air Force, Air Lieutenant Brigadier Carlos de Almeida Baptista Junior; the Chief of the Joint Staff of the Armed Forces (EMCFA), Army General Laerte de Souza Santos, and the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Defense, Sergio José Pereira, were present.
