Cascavel (PR) – The 15th Mechanized Infantry Brigade held the Live Simulation exercise that corresponds to the final phase of certification of its Readiness Force. The military carried out a series of training sessions in the cities of Cascavel, Santa Tereza do Oeste, Vera Cruz do Oeste, Ramilândia, and Santa Helena-PR between June 7th and 14th.
The Live Simulation trains the military from a hypothetical situation of actual employment, which simulates combat situations that require a prompt response from the troops.
The exercise began with an operational readiness ceremony in the city of Cascavel, which brought together about 1,500 military personnel and 200 vehicles from all the military organizations subordinate to the Guarani Brigade. The evaluating officers from the South Training Center were also present.
With the conclusion of the exercise, the 15th Mechanized Infantry Brigade is certified as a Brazilian Army Readiness Force, able to act in any employment scenario in the Homeland Defense.
