Leaders from Motorola Solutions, Gerdau, Sonda, Roche Farma, BTP and ManageEngine talk about innovation and cybersecurity in public safety and critical infrastructure industries.

The current scenario of constantly evolving cyber threats requires a more advanced and proactive approach to increasing the protection of sensitive data. This will be the central theme of one of this year’s panels at Futurecom 2023, Latin America’s largest innovation, connectivity and digital transformation event, which will take place between October 3 and 5 in São Paulo.

The panel “Zero trust architecture, access management and cultural management” will take place on October 4 at 4pm. Moderated by Cristiano Breder, Motorola Solutions’ Cybersecurity leader for Latin America and the Caribbean, a group of leading technology experts will come together to discuss essential strategies for tackling security challenges, especially with increasing automation in critical infrastructures such as public safety, industry 4.0, healthcare, retail and supply chain.

The panel will include Vitor Sena from Gerdau, Jose Marcos Ligiero from Roche Farma, Fabiana Morgante from Brasil Terminal Portuário (BTP), Eduardo de Souza from Sonda do Brasil and Fernando Paiva from ManageEngine.

Breder highlights the importance of adopting advanced cybersecurity approaches with the use of artificial intelligence (AI) to detect advanced threats. “In a world of constantly evolving threats and ever-increasing attack surfaces, a managed security platform is crucial to maintaining a solid cybersecurity posture,” he concludes.

The 2023 edition of Futurecom has the theme “Connecting the Interactions – the age of connected data, people and business” and takes place between October 3 and 5 at the São Paulo Expo. For more information, visit https://www.futurecom.com.br/pt/home.html
