Eve Air Mobility to debut at Paris Air ShowEve Air Mobility to debut at Paris Air Show

Company will present mock-up of eVTOL cabin and virtual reality experience and integrate multiple panels.

Eve Air Mobility (“Eve”) will make its first appearance at the Paris Air Show in Le Bourget, taking place June 19-25, after becoming an independent company. The company arrives in Paris after a successful year that includes the industry’s largest order backlog (2,770 orders) for its electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft and a growing number of customers purchasing its urban air traffic management (Urban ATM) software, as well as a comprehensive portfolio of agnostic services and operations solutions.

“The Paris Air Show brings together global aviation players and showcases the biggest news and latest advances in the aerospace industry,” said Andre Stein, Co-CEO of Eve. “Eve comes to Paris at an important time for the development of our eVTOL, which includes progress toward key program milestones.”

World tour of the cabin mock-up arrives in Paris

Eve’s eVTOL cabin mock-up will make its first appearance in Paris as part of a world tour that began at the Farnborough Air Show, held in the second half of 2022. The mock-up features a human-centric development approach that addresses the needs of future passengers of various profiles. The vehicle configuration includes a conventional eight-rotor wing, providing vertical take-off and landing functionalities in a simple Lift + Cruise design, with internal space to accommodate a pilot and four passengers.

Virtual Reality

Visitors to the Eve booth (location information below) will also be able to experience a virtual flight in the eVTOL via virtual reality technology. The experience, which requires a special headset, allows users to get a unique sense of reality by interacting and experiencing what it will be like to fly Eve’s eVTOL.

Panels with Members of Eve’s Leadership

Members of Eve’s leadership will participate in multiple discussions during the Paris Air Show. Andre Stein, Co-CEO of the company, will participate in a panel on new technologies at the International Society of Transport Aircraft Trading (ISTAT) sustainability symposium and will hold a chat to discuss Eve’s Concepts of Operations for turning advanced air mobility into reality. David Rottblatt, Senior Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Government Affairs, will discuss the future of airspace and the technology and infrastructure needed to enable eVTOL flights worldwide.
