Brasília (DF) – The Brazilian Army launched the Army Command Management Report for 2023 (RGCE/2023)[in portuguse] on Wednesday. The publication is one of the institution’s annual accountability tools for society and presents the main activities carried out by the Force in an objective and illustrated way. The publication was authorized at a signing ceremony held by the Army Commander, General Tomás, and accompanied by the Army Chief of Staff, General Soares.
As a Governance and Management tool, the RGCE records a time cycle of representative Army events and highlights the Force’s commitment to its constitutional mission, through the judicious use of the resources made available. According to the Army Commander, the Report is a fundamental instrument of transparency.
“May the information provided convey to Brazilian society the Army’s commitment to the nation and contribute to instilling the idea that national defense is a matter of state, inseparable from the country’s development, and that a sovereign Brazil requires Armed Forces truly capable of promoting the defense of its interests,” said General Tomás.
