Brasília (DF) – On the morning of March 12, 2024, the Land Operations Command received a visit from Ambassador Gilda Motta Santos Neves, Director of the Department of International Organizations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Ambassador Gilda Motta was received by the Commander of the Army, General of the Army Tomás Miguel Miné Ribeiro Paiva, and by the Commander of Land Operations. The purpose of the visit was to introduce Ambassador Gilda Motta to the current activities of the Brazilian Army, with an emphasis on military personnel deployed on peace missions and in activities with friendly nations.

The visit was also attended by the Coordinator of the Brazilian Network on Peace Operations (REBRAPAZ), Dr. Eduarda Passarelli Hamann, and the Postgraduate Coordinator of Institutional Relations at the University of Brasilia (UNB), Dr. Alcides Costa Vaz.
