Military personnel from Brazil and France participated, between May 16 and 18, in the XV Meeting between the Defense General Staffs. The main objective of the event, which took place at the headquarters of the French Ministry of Defense in Paris, was to discuss the Bilateral Cooperation Plan between the Armed Forces of both countries for the biennium 2023 and 2024.

Also in the scope of military cooperation, agreements were signed in the areas of military education, logistics, personnel, cyber defense, combined operations, hospital assistance to riverside communities, and exchanges, among others.

For the Deputy Chief of International Affairs of the Ministry of Defense (MD), Brigadier General Sérgio Rezende de Queiroz, the meeting provided the opportunity to discuss strategic issues in the area of Defense of common interest for cooperation between the Armed Forces of both countries.
