Saab’s CEROS 200 has arrived in the United States from Sweden for testing and demonstration for the US Navy. The CEROS 200 is a multi-mission gun and missile firing control system for naval surface platforms that provides enhanced target tracking and firing control through the integration of multiple sensor types. More than 200 CEROS 200 systems have been produced for operations around the world.
In the US, the CEROS 200 will be used for system characterization and capability demonstrations against current and emerging threats.
“Transitioning proven technology to the US to enhance US capabilities is fundamental to Saab’s approach. We use international engineering and threat expertise to deliver the best technology on the market in the U.S.,” said Kevin LaPointe, director of Naval Sales and Marketing at Saab, Inc.
Saab’s multi-mission radar systems operate on U.S. Navy and Coast Guard platforms.
