Opportunity to learn about the latest technology in ballistic vests and shields
Brazilian company Protecta Defesa & Segurança will be present at COP International – Police Operations Congress, bringing a variety of technologies developed for the ballistic protection market.
COP International will be held between October 25 and 27 and is already considered one of the most important Latin American events on Public Security, bringing together
civil society, security agents, authorities and national and international companies in the sector.
Protecta will be bringing around 19 items to the COP, which will be available to the public as an opportunity to demonstrate the equipment and exchange experiences on the latest security and defense products.
In addition to ballistic vests in ostensible, tactical and concealed models, used by different security forces throughout Brazil, the company has expertise in manufacturing ballistic shields, automotive armor and air bags.
Recognized production
The PROT 035/19 bulletproof vest is one of the products on display at COP. This equipment with protection level IIIA is certified based on the Technical Standard for Ballistic Protection Vests, defined by the Ministry of Justice and Public Security (MJSP).
Always concerned about the well-being of those wearing a Protecta vest, the company never tires of looking for technologies that are suitable for every operational need.
The NIJ 0101.06-certified ballistic vests are made with graphene nanoparticles, bringing lightness and flexibility, fundamental characteristics that guarantee mobility in actions, since such equipment can weigh 4.2 kg/m2.
“All our products are innovative in the country. Our technological solutions can be applied to any type of vest – tactical, ostentatious or concealed, which assures us total coverage of what the Armed Forces, Public Security Forces and individuals need on a daily basis. As Protecta’s primary mission is to save lives, we are always concerned with seeking out the highest technology and investing in research to develop safer, lighter products that will enable us to fulfill this objective without hindrance,” said Victor Gallo, Protecta’s CEO.
