Santa Maria (RS) – On June 14, the Commander of the 6th Armored Infantry Brigade, Brigadier General Marcelo Carvalho Ribeiro, carried out a logistics inspection of the 1st Combat Car Regiment (1st RCC).

In this opportunity, besides the general graduation and the meeting of the inspection committee with the officers and sergeants of the unit, the state of conservation of the various classes of military materials, the wheeled and tracked vehicles and the premises used as storage for various types of supplies were checked, as well as all the activities related to logistics of the “Regiment Vanguardeiro”.

The committee also verified the operational readiness of the troops of the Regiment that make up the Readiness Force (FORPRON). After the successful execution, in 2022, of all the Certification steps required by the Land Operations Command, the “Niederauer Brigade” remains in a state of operational readiness, being able to be deployed to act in a defined area, within a certain period of time, primarily in actions aimed at homeland defense.

Finally, the purpose of this logistical inspection was to obtain information that will allow the Army to take action with the higher echelons, to increase troop operational rates, to increase the efficiency, efficacy and effectiveness of the Logistical System, and to contribute to the preservation of Military Employment Materials and equipment.
