With the constitutional mission of “maintaining the sovereignty of the airspace and integrating the national territory, with a view to defending the homeland”, the Brazilian Air Force (FAB) performs essential work throughout Brazil. Acting in defense of our borders, in control of the airspace of an area equivalent to 22 million square kilometers and in national integration, its presence is fundamental to the country’s progress. With the aim of giving more visibility to its activities, the FAB is launching its new institutional campaign, which has the theme: “Our Force wherever Brazil needs it”.

The main artwork on the promotional material depicts military personnel alongside their main aircraft, with the national territory as a backdrop. Together with the campaign’s theme, the promotional material encapsulates the Force’s ongoing commitment, within its constitutional mission, to meeting the nation’s emerging demands in all parts of the country and sometimes beyond our borders.

One of the advertisers taking part in the creative process, Lieutenant Gabriel José Mesquita Monteiro Dias, explains that the creative process begins months in advance, involving reference research and brainstorming processes, always taking into account the FAB’s strategic communication objectives and the message that is to be conveyed to the target audience.

“Once the campaign’s creative concept has been approved, the production phase begins, where the team made up of advertisers and designers develops the various graphic and digital pieces according to the defined concept,” says the officer.

In addition, the FAB is highlighting its most precious asset, the one that is directly responsible for its success in carrying out its duties: its people. “This campaign is very much based on what the Air Force will be like in 2023. We had activities to support society, carrying out national integration, both in Brazil and abroad, in various locations. And this year’s campaign has a very special storyline. We are absolutely certain that, as always, we will continue to support Brazil in its greatest and smallest needs, wherever Brazil needs it,” said the Commander of the Air Force, Air Force Lieutenant General Marcelo Kanitz Damasceno.

Throughout the year, the advertising pieces will be used in various FAB Social Communication channels, such as videos, exhibitions, social media, among others. In this way, the Brazilian Air Force reiterates its commitment to excellence, ethics and innovation, contributing to building a stronger country.
