138 new Soldiers were commissioned by the Brazilian Air Force (FAB)

The military ceremony commemorating the commitment to the National Flag and the conclusion of the Training Course of 138 Soldiers from the first class of recruits of 2022 was held on July 6, at Canoas Air Base (BACO). The ceremony was presided over by the Commander of the Fifth Regional Air Command (V COMAR), Air Major Brigadier Marcelo Fornasiari Rivero, who was welcomed by the Commander of the Canoas Air Base, Aviator Colonel Marcelo Zampier Bussmann, and by the Commander of the Security and Defense Group of Canoas (GSD-CO), Infantry Lieutenant Colonel Antônio Luiz Moura Junior.
On the occasion, academic merit awards were given to the top three in the class: soldiers Matheus Jaskulski Silva, Henrique Silva Braida, and Marcos Antônio Walter Filho, as well as to the physical fitness standout, Private Emilio da Silva Brugnera, and the military standard standout, Private Bruno de Souza Dornelles.
The Commander of the GSD-CO, Infantry Lieutenant Colonel Antonio Luiz Moura Junior, thanked the military for the work done by the soldiers who led the training of the new soldiers from the Chronos Class. “The recruit class has formed the foundation of our garrison, and the constant search for improved training and support make this foundation ever more solid,” he said.
The new military of the Brazilian Air Force (FAB) paraded in salute to the National Flag, with the noble mission of maintaining the sovereignty of the airspace and integrating the national territory with a view to defending the Homeland.
