Registration for the 2025 Air Cadet Preparatory Course Admission Exam (CPCAR) begins on 05/03/2024 and ends on 25/03/2024. To register, simply visit the website: https://www.fab.mil.br/ingresso/, register and pay the fee of R$ 80,00. The 130 places are open to candidates of both sexes, with 26 reserved for black candidates.
To be enrolled on the course, candidates must meet all the requirements set out in the Exam’s Specific Instructions, be no younger than 14 or 19 years old by December 31, 2025 and have completed elementary school in the National Education System by the date of the Exam’s Final Concentration.
The selection process consists of written tests (Portuguese language, mathematics, English language and essay), a health inspection, a psychological aptitude test, a physical fitness assessment test, a complementary hetero-identification procedure (for candidates who choose to apply for places reserved for black people) and document validation.
The written tests will take place on June 26, 2024. Those approved in all stages of the selection process and selected by the Special Evaluation Board (JEA) must report to the Air Cadet Preparatory School (EPCAR), in Barbacena (MG), on January 11, 2025, to enroll in the course.
After successfully completing the course, which is scheduled to take three years, the student will be entitled to certificates of completion of high school and the CPCAR itself and will be able to compete for the number of vacancies provided for enrollment in the first year of the Air Force Academy’s (AFA) Flying Officer Training Course.
