Atech, a company of the Embraer Group, will participate in the 13th edition of the largest and most important fair of Defense and Security in Latin America – LAAD 2023 – which takes place from April 11 to 14 – at the Riocentro Convention and Exhibition Center – in Barra da Tijuca, Rio de Janeiro – RJ. The company will be present in Pavilion 3 – Booth I-50, together with Embraer and other companies in the Group.
During LAAD, Atech will exhibit all its experience in command and control technologies, and systems integration, as well as combat systems, simulators, nuclear control and protection, and cyber defense, all developed to meet the needs of the Armed Forces and Government.
At the booth, the company will highlight its complete portfolio of solutions for the Defense and Security market – Arkhe Integrated Systems, being: Arkhe Command & Control (C4ISR systems); Arkhe Mission Combat (embedded systems); Arkhe Intelligence (intelligence systems); Arkhe Cyber (cyber security); and Arkhe Academy (education, simulation and training).

Atech’s expertise and proven experience in the design, development and integration of critical systems, as a provider of integrated solutions for defense, security, air traffic and civil applications, place the company in a prominent position when acting in various strategic projects of the country, such as
- Tamandaré Class Frigates Program (PFCT), in which Atech is responsible for the supply and integration of CMS (Combat Management System) and IPMS (Integrated Platform Management System).
- Nuclear-electric Power Generation Laboratory (Labgene), where the company develops the laboratory’s monitoring, control and protection systems, and is responsible for the integration of the instrumentation and auxiliary systems.
- H225M/H-XBR Program, in which it participates in the development of the N-TDMS (Naval Tactical Data Management System) tactical system, which presents the tactical situation around the aircraft.
- Gripen NG, for the Brazilian Air Force, where it is responsible for the development, installation and integration of different systems, with on-board resources; and in the modernization program of the E-99M, Airborne Early Warning and Control Aircraft, with on-board and support systems and ground mission planning.
Upcoming events
In the week following LAAD, for the third consecutive year, Atech will take part in the largest and most complex international dual-action cyber defense exercise in the world – Locked Shields 2023. The event is organized by the Cooperative Cyber Defense Center of Excellence (CCDCOE), an agency linked to the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO). Also in 2023, Atech will participate in the fifth edition of the Cyber Guardians Exercise, promoted by the Brazilian Ministry of Defense. The training is considered the largest in the area of cyber defense in the southern hemisphere.
