The biannual event takes place between December 4th and 7th
The Brazilian Association of Defense and Security Industries (ABIMDE) is all set for the Brazil Pavilion, which will occupy stand H3-B50 at the Egypt Defence Expo (EDEX). The event starts today, December 4, and runs until December 7, at the Egypt International Exhibition Center in Cairo.
EDEX is organized by Arabian World Events, with the support of the Egyptian Ministry of Defence and the Egyptian Ministry of Military Production. The event is being sponsored by the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt and Supreme Commander of the Egyptian Armed Forces, Abdul Fatah Khalil Al-Sisi.
In this edition, EDEX features more than 400 defense and security companies from around the world, presenting the latest military technologies, equipment and systems on land, sea and air to a select audience. The event expects to attract 35,000 visitors from all over the world, including military personnel, government officials, industry professionals and international delegations.
Brazil’s participation is being coordinated by ABIMDE. The Brazilian Pavilion will feature 09 exhibiting companies offering innovative solutions for aircraft, engineering projects, ammunition of various calibers for weapons, surveillance and monitoring systems and ballistic protection.
