The main defense and security solutions will be presented from September 12 to 15 in London

The Defence and Security Equipment International (DSEI) event, which will take place from September 12 to 15 at the ExCeL London Convention Center – Royal Victoria Dock, in London, England, will provide a space for worldwide discussions on defense and security.

Brazil will have its place at this major event, presenting Brazilian security and defense solutions at the Brazil Pavilion, which is being coordinated and managed by the Brazilian Association of Defense and Security Industries (ABIMDE). Brazil’s participation is promoted by the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil), the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Development, Industry, Trade and Services.

In this edition, there will be more than 2,800 defense and security suppliers and more than 230 new exhibitors, as well as representatives from governments, the armed forces and industry in general, with companies from various countries.

Twelve companies from Brazil will be exhibiting their products and services:

  • Berkana Tecnologia em Segurança LTDA;

  • Emgepron – management company for naval projects;
  • Gespi Indústria e Comércio de Equipamentos; Kryptus Segurança da Informação S.A.;
  • M&K Assessoria, Exportadora e Importadora Ltda;
  • Neger Industrial Pesquisa e Desenvolvimento Ltda;
  • Simtech Representações Ltda.

Among the products presented are strategic project management technologies, defense management technologies, defense solutions, intelligence systems, digital security and command and control
and command and control platforms, on-board systems for air and naval assets, representation services and planning, surveillance and monitoring solutions, to name but a few.

The Brazil Pavilion, located in Hall 4 H4-328, is equipped with an LED screen to show companies’ products and a meeting room for business meetings. The inauguration, scheduled for the morning of the 12th, will be attended by Brazil’s Ambassador to London, diplomat Antonio Patriota, as well as civil and military authorities from the Navy, Army and Air Force.

ABIMDE’s project director, Colonel Antonio Ribeiro, who is responsible for coordinating the Brazilian space, highlighted the participation in DSEI in a positive light. “Our expectation, as an association, is that the exhibiting companies will be able to strengthen their commercial ties with countries and companies with which they already have some kind of partnership, as well as establish new opportunities for promoting our defense and security products in markets that don’t yet know and use them.”
