Fort Benning (United States) – Cavalry Sergeant Third Class Bruno Schubert Trindade was chosen as the Soldier of Honor and Iron Soldier and had his name placed on the Commander’s List at the Basic Leader Course at the Western Hemisphere Institute for Security Cooperation. The course was held at Fort Benning, in the United States of America, from January 30 to March 9, with the participation of 22 students from Brazil and Colombia.
The Basic Leader Course aims to develop skills in written and oral communication, critical and creative thinking, problem solving, leadership, advising, and military ceremonies. In addition, sergeants learn how to conduct a training and dressage of soldiers. The course aims to develop character and procedures for leading troops. By the end of the course, the sergeants are able to train, lead, and conduct operations in the leadership of small fractions.
