Rio de Janeiro (RJ) – The second videoconference of the Commanders of Cycle XXXV (biennium 2022-2023) of the Conference of American Armies (CAA) took place this Thursday, 9th. The meeting was chaired by Army General Tomás Miguel Miné Ribeiro Paiva, Commander of the Brazilian Army and current president of the CAA.

The event counted with the participation of commanders and command representatives from 25 armies and international organizations. The objective of the meeting is to strengthen the contact among the participants and discuss the activities carried out in the current cycle.

During the videoconference, besides information about the progress of the CAA Cycle XXXV, an invitation to the Commanders Conference was made, which will take place in the cities of Rio de Janeiro and Resende (RJ) from November 6th to 10th.

The CAA is an international military organization that acts as a debate forum for the exchange of experiences between the armies of the American continent. It is integrated and directed by armies of the continent and seeks to promote cooperation and development of the armed forces in the region.
