Taurus, the world’s largest seller of light weapons, is launching the G series of pistols on the Brazilian market: the G3 XL and G3 Tactical.
The G3 XL and G3 Tactical pistols feature the revolutionary Taurus Optic Ready Option (T.O.R.O.) system which, by means of an interchangeable plate, allows a wide range of optical sights popular on the market to be accommodated immediately on the same piece of equipment, without the need for customized work by a gunsmith.
Four optical sight adapter mounting plates are included, along with four different sets of screws and an L-shaped wrench.
The new models also have a MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny rail for mounting accessories such as a tactical or laser flashlight and safety features, including a visual ammunition indicator in the chamber, a single and double action trigger system, and a striker and trigger lock.
In addition, they are designed with the 3rd generation trigger, with a flatter profile, smooth actuation and crisper, cleaner disarming.
With the new versions, Taurus has expanded the G3 series of semi-automatic pistols in 9 mm striker fire caliber, with models ideal for every need.
Whether for personal defense, leisure or competition, the G3 XL and G3 Tactical deliver factory-tuned performance while providing customization options for the demands of each shooter.
G3 XL
The Taurus G3 XL offers the same grip characteristics as the G3c pistol, but with a 4″ barrel, making it ideal for concealed carry and personal defense. It has magazines with capacity for 12 rounds and weighs just 700 grams. It has a matte black Tenifer finish, metal sights, a knurled vertex with lateral adjustment and a fixed sight mass with a white dot.
G3 Tactical
The Taurus G3 Tactical is a pistol with a 4.5″ barrel ready to receive suppressors. It has a Cerakote® Patriot Brown finish, which is more resistant to corrosive elements, magazines with a capacity of 17 rounds and a weight of 730 grams.
The Taurus G3 Tactical pistol comes with a 1/2″ x 28 tpi threaded barrel coated with DLC (Diamond Like Carbon), cutting-edge technology that increases the hardness of the steel and guarantees smoothness and greater durability. It also has CO WITNESS sights for higher sights and the ideal height for suppressor shots without the need for a Red Dot sight.
