Taurus, Strategic Defense Company and world leader in sales of light weapons, is present as one of the main sponsors and exhibitors of Shot Fair Brasil 2023, the largest shooting sports, tactical and security fair in Latin America, which takes place between August 2 and 5 at the Expoville Convention and Exhibition Center in Joinville, Santa Catarina.

On the occasion, the brand exclusively launches 20 weapons, including pistols and revolvers, in addition to its line of noble wood handles with innovative 3D Touch MBT finish and a collection of handmade knives, which includes the first knife in the world with Cerakote® Graphene blade finish.

The novelties are part of Taurus’ strategy of strong investment in research and development of efficient production processes, products with embedded technology and innovative materials. Through its Brazil/United States Integrated Technology and Engineering Center (CITE), Taurus identifies market demands and is agile in launching products, offering differentiated and quality weapons at competitive costs, characteristics that have led it to occupy a prominent place in the world industry.

During Shot Fair Brasil 2023, visitors will have the opportunity to get to know Taurus’ complete product portfolio, with more than 200 weapons on display, as well as the lines of high-performance and multi-caliber suppressors, accessories and clothing sold in the brand’s marketplace.

Among the launches, the company, which continues to expand the portfolio of the 3rd generation of pistols, presents the GX4 Carry Graphene T.O.R.O., the new subcompact, lighter and with high capacity, with magazines of 15 and 17 ammunition, in 9mm caliber. The novelty has Cerakote® Graphene finish, 3.7″ barrel coated with DLC (Diamond Like Carbon), Taurus Optic Ready Option (T.O.R.O.) system that, through an interchangeable plate, allows to accommodate optical sights, and standard Picatinny rail for accessories.

Taurus also expands the G3 series of semi-automatic pistols in 9mm caliber, the G3 XL T.O.R.O., which offers the same grip characteristics as the G3c, but with a 4″ barrel, 12-round capacity magazines, Striker Fire or SA/DA action and Tenox Carbon finish, ideal for concealed carry; and the G3 Tactical, with a 4.5″ barrel, ready to receive suppressors, 17-round capacity magazines, Striker Fire or SA/DA action and Cerakote® finish in Patriot Brown, Od Green or Black.

In the TH Hammer line, the company presents at Shot Fair Brasil 2023 two novelties: the TH380 Graphene pistol, with a 4.25″ barrel, and its compact version TH380c Graphene, with a 3.54″ barrel. Both versions have a magazine for 18 rounds of ammunition, in .380 ACP caliber, Cerakote® Graphene finish and come with a kit of plates for optical sights.

Meeting a recurring consumer demand, Taurus also launches the TH10 pistol, a pistol in 10mm caliber, unprecedented in the Brazilian market, and the TH45, Taurus’ first pistol in the classic .45 ACP caliber with polymer frame, being the evolution of the already known 845 pistol. Both models have a 4.25″ barrel, are 100% ambidextrous, made with a high-strength polymer frame and Carbon Tenox finish.

Following the launches of pistols, visitors will be able to see at the Taurus booth the 58HC PLUS models and the 59 pistol, with a capacity of 19 ammunition in .380 ACP caliber and Cerakote® finish in Tungsten, Sand, Od Green and Flat Dark Earth brown colors. The 58HC PLUS has a 4″ barrel, polymer plate grip, aluminum frame and is compatible with a fixed 3-point sight (not included). The 59 pistol has a 5.1″ barrel and Picatinny/MIL-STD-1913 rail.

In the revolver category, Taurus brings another novelty to the Raging Hunter series, the RT 38H, in .38 SPL caliber, with a capacity of 5 ammunition, SA/DA action, 5.12″ barrel and Duo Tone finish. The percussion bar, the grip with impact absorber, the recoil compensator and the Picatinny/MIL-STD-1913 rail are other differentials of this new revolver, which also has adjustable rear sight and fixed front sight.

Another launch is the RT 380 T.O.R.O., a model with the Taurus Optics Ready Option (T.O.R.O.) system, which allows the use of several optical sight platforms. In .380 ACP caliber, this revolver has a drum for 6 rounds, SA/DA action, 3″ barrel and matte and matte oxidized stainless steel finish.

Taurus also presents at Shot Fair Brasil 2023 the RT 942 UL revolver, exclusively in .22 LR caliber, with a capacity of 8 ammunition, 3″ barrel and matte stainless steel and matte oxidized finishes. And, for those looking for flexibility, the RT 832, a two-barrel model in .380 ACP and .38 SPL calibers, with a 7-round capacity, 6.5″ barrel and matte stainless finish. Both revolvers have SA/DA action.

For consumers passionate about classic weapons, Taurus launches in the Brazilian market the long-awaited Single Action Emperor revolver. The novelty is inspired by the famous Single Action revolver. Considered the classic of the classics, this model was well known for the old west movies and was used by the US Army in the 19th century. The Single Action Emperor is a single action revolver with two grip options, wood or polymer, two barrel sizes, 4.75″ and 5.47″ version, and two caliber options, .38 SPL and .45 COLT. Closing the features of this classic revolver, the finish is in Cerakote® Graphite Black, available for both caliber versions.

Also among the exclusive launches in Brazil, Taurus exhibits at the event the elegant 856 Executive Grade revolver, a model with a 3″ stainless steel barrel, a capacity of 6 ammunition in .38 SPL caliber and a hand-polished satin finish. The wooden grip gives the revolver a unique style, delivering unrivaled performance and elegance. The 856 Executive Grade was even named Handgun Of The Year in the United States in 2022, winning the prestigious Golden Bullseye award from the National Rifle Association (NRA).

Taurus is also expanding its line of Rossi brand revolvers with three new models: RP63 and RM66 with Cerakote® finish, as well as the RM64, which bring back classic Rossi features. All have a 6-shot capacity in SA/DA action in .38 SPL caliber and rubber grip. The RP63 has a 3″ barrel, the RM64 has a 4″ barrel, and the RM66 a 6″ barrel.

Taurus also launches exclusively at Shot Fair Brasil 2023 its exclusive line of grips, developed in partnership with MBT GRIPS, with Multiframe® system, compatible with all the brand’s large frame revolvers. In addition to a collection of handmade knives, developed in partnership with Facas Boeck, with 5 models.

Platform for theoretical and practical training

In addition to the new products, another important attraction at the Taurus booth at Shot Fair Brasil 2023 is the unprecedented digital platform for theoretical and practical training recently launched, the Taurus Shooting Academy, which is part of the company’s Continuing Education program and will be on display to visitors.

The platform, which, at this first moment, is exclusively accessible to professionals in the sector, including shopkeepers, technical assistants, distributors, consultants and company employees, has theoretical training modules on Taurus products and some basic concepts about weapons. At the end of each module, there is an evaluative quiz to test the knowledge acquired during the training. The score obtained in these tests determines the user’s position in the overall ranking of the platform, according to their level of performance.

The Taurus Academy was designed, in a personalized way and with responsive technology, to offer training, training and development to the more than 100 thousand professionals who are part of this production chain, with an emphasis on adding knowledge to the brand’s partners.

The Taurus stand also has a special interaction environment, dedicated to recording various content related to the segment.
