This week, Safran Eletrônica & Defesa Brasil received a visit from the CEO of Safran Eletronics & Defense (France), Franck Saudo, together with the Executive Vice President of the Defense Division, Alexandre Ziegler, and the Executive Vice President of the Avionics Division, Florent Chauvancy. For the first time at the Brazilian subsidiary, located in São José dos Campos (SP), the new CEO had the opportunity to familiarize himself with the Brazilian facilities since taking up his new role at the French headquarters in April 2023.
The CEO was welcomed by the unit’s CEO, David Montmasson, as well as the entire Brazilian team. During the visit, Mr. Franck Saudo had the opportunity to meet each of the subsidiary’s employees, understand how Safran Eletrônica & Defesa Brasil conducts its activities in the country, being responsible for the transfer of high technology in avionics equipment, inertial navigation systems and optronic systems to Brazil. It was also an opportunity for Mr. Alexandre Ziegler to present the new organization of the Defense Division to the Brazilian team, whose pillar is to strengthen the subsidiaries in Brazil and around the world, in addition to reinforcing the voice of customers at the heart of the organization.
Safran Eletrônica & Defesa Brasil is one of the Safran group’s four subsidiaries in Brazil. With more than 40 years on Brazilian soil, the units have more than 700 employees.
