Saab will be present at the International Air and Space Fair, FIDAE, which takes place from April 9 to 14 in Santiago, Chile.

RBS 70 NG (New Generation): This short-range anti-aircraft defense system features an integrated sight with the latest technologies, including automatic tracking, the ability to receive 3D target information and a thermal camera. The system operates with a laser-guided missile that is immune to interference and has extremely high precision, reaching 9km (5,000m altitude) against air threats. It can be used as a MANPAD (portable) or integrated into vehicles (MSHORAD), offering 24-hour coverage in all weather conditions.

Giraffe 1X: a compact, high-performance 3D radar with capabilities for various short-range surveillance and ground-based air defense missions. It is flexible and integrates easily with any platform, such as mobile units, supporting maneuver battalions by providing situational awareness and the ability to detect threats such as drones and ballistic targets, even when on the move.

Indoor Virtual Simulation and Training System (IDT GC): A solution for optimizing soldiers’ skills, the IDT GC is a realistic virtual weapons simulator with incredible accuracy. Modular and scalable, GC IDT’s various configurations cover a wide range of weaponry, including realistic small arms, support weapons and anti-tank weapons.

Manpack: A modular and scalable laser simulation system based on combat and shooting techniques training. It can incorporate urban training, medical care, CBRN (chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear) training and improvised explosive device training.

Ground-Launched Small Diameter Bomb (GLSDB): Developed in partnership by Saab and Boeing, this equipment offers ground forces a truly mobile capability to hit targets that were previously out of their reach. With a range of 150 km, the ability to follow non-ballistic trajectories and the maneuverability to hit targets unreachable by conventional direct-fire weapons.

Carl-Gustaf® M4: The latest version of the portable and multifunctional recoilless cannon, which offers users a wide operational capability and allows troops to be agile and effective in any scenario. It builds on the proven features of previous versions to increase accuracy, with a lighter structure and compatibility with future technological developments.

AT4: The AT4 family is a line of lightweight, portable, single-shot weapons characterized by ease of use and handling. Its main features include a high probability of impact and effect on the target, creating great destructive capacity for each weapon fired.

Gripen: A unique fighter concept that offers a perfect balance between excellent operational performance, cutting-edge technology, cost efficiency and industrial cooperation, all in a single intelligent combat system. With the Brazilian Gripen Program, the company has established a broad transfer of technology that is benefiting the national defense industry.
