Selection process for the Maritime Studies Program will be open to civilians and military until September 2nd

Applications for the selection process for the Graduate Program in Maritime Studies (PPGEM), at the Doctoral and Professional Master’s (“stricto sensu”) levels, are open until September 2.
Participation is broad, involving both civilians and military personnel. The program is scheduled to begin in March 2023, and will last up to two years for the Master’s degree, and up to four years for the Doctorate. The Program is structured in the area of “Maritime Defense, Governance, and Security”, with three Research Lines: Maritime Policy and Strategy; Regulation of the Use of the Sea, Decision-making Processes, and Prospective Methods; and Policy, Management, and Logistics in Science, Technology, and Innovation in the Maritime Environment. Naval War College (EGN)
The EGN is an institution of high military studies that has the purpose of contributing to the training of Navy Officers for the performance of operational and administrative commissions, preparing them for staff functions and perfecting them for the exercise of positions of command, leadership, direction and high ranks of the Navy. Since 2014, with the creation of the PPGEM, the Brazilian Navy has been offering Stricto Sensu postgraduate courses to society.
