Irisity AB, the global leader in AI-driven surveillance technology, announces that after starting operations in Colombia, Mexico and Chile last year, the company is now targeting South America and is stepping up operations in Brazil and Argentina with sales expected to grow by between 30 and 50% in the Latin countries.
In Brazil, the company has hired a commercial director (Leandro Miquinioty) to head up sales in the country and in Argentina it has made the same move, hiring Alejandro Reich as regional sales director. The CALA region (Caribbean and Latin America) is under the command of João Paulo Florentino, Vice President of Sales and Operations, who joined the company at the end of 2022.
The strategy for Brazil and Latin America will be to strengthen the Irisity brand, train local staff, promote partnerships with integrators, resellers and camera manufacturers and extend to these countries alliances already consolidated globally such as Hanwha, Axis, Intel, Google and video management system (VMS) companies, with the aim of maximizing video surveillance projects.
Customers in the Latin American region include the Vicente Lopez County in Argentina, the 911 emergency number in the Dominican Republic and the Securitas Group in the city of Montevideo, among others.
