The Brazilian technology solutions company will present its portfolio with high-tech solutions and services.

IACIT will participate in the 11th edition of the International Aeronautics and Space Fair – F-Air Colombia – which will take place from July 12 to 16 – at José María Córdova Airport, Rionegro, Antioquia, Colombia.
The international event opens space for the reactivation and development of the global aeronautics and aerospace industry. F-Air Colombia has positioned itself as one of the most important fairs in the civil aviation and defense industry, having in its program, academic agenda, commercial exhibition, business conference, aircraft exhibition, networking and air shows.

It is worth mentioning that Brazil is the guest of honor of this edition of F-Air Colombia, when IACIT will be positioned at the stand of the Brazilian Association of Defense and Security Materials Industries – ABIMDE, in partnership with the Brazilian Ministry of Defense.

Bruno Vicente, IACIT’s international sales executive, reveals that the company is ready to meet visitors, discuss projects and highlight its products at the event recognized as a catalyst for strategic alliances and business of the aeronautical and aerospace industries in Latin America and the world.

IACIT’s expertise, acquired through constant performance in the CNS/ATM, Meteorology, Defense and Research, Development and Innovation segments, for more than 37 years, allows the company to offer high-tech solutions also applicable to the civilian market.

There will be several IACIT highlights at F-Air Colombia 2023. The first is the RMT 0200 Weather Radar, which was developed for the detection of meteorological phenomena at long distances, operating in Dual Polarization with Solid State Amplifier technology. This solution has an extensive line of products focused on Meteorology, enabling support for decision making in the areas of Air Traffic Control.

Another highlight will be the DME 0200 (Distance Measuring Equipment), an air navigation equipment that allows determining the distance of an aircraft in relation to a point located on the ground, supporting spatial localization as an alternative to GPS navigation. It is a 100% national product, operating in several locations in Brazil by the Brazilian Air Force (FAB) through the Department of Airspace Control (DECEA).

In the area of electronic countermeasure, IACIT, after observing the movement of the world market in the area of unmanned aircraft (UA) and anticipating trends and problems, developed the DRONEBLOCKER solution, a system capable of detecting and locating the presence of drones, performing the blocking with radio frequency interference. The system is widely used by the Brazilian Army and will be disseminated at the ABIMDE stand.

Specialized in the production of mission-critical software and systems for meteorology, IACIT has developed the MIND platform – Integrated Meteorology Nowcasting for Decision Makers, which can be applied to several operational concepts for Meteorology Centers focused on Civil Defense, Mission Critical Operations Monitoring and ATM/ATC (air traffic management/air traffic control). In the ATM/ATC version, MIND functions as a Command, Control and Intelligence system designed to support decision making in the provision of Aeronautical Meteorology service, acting as a C2I platform (command, control and intelligence solution) for Air Traffic Control Centers through the generation of warnings and alerts of conditions that may impact aircraft en route and landing and take-off operations. MIND will also be showcased in the IACIT space at F-Air Colombia.
