Eve Air Mobility (“Eve”) has signed a letter of intent with Skyway Technologies Corp. (“Skyway”) to be its Urban Air Traffic Management (“UATM”) software provider. This partnership seeks to ensure that traffic management for future Urban Air Mobility (“UAM”) operations meets the needs and growth of the industry.
“Integrating Eve’s UATM solution into Skyway’s air traffic operation services for vertiports, increases market support for eVTOL sales and takes Skyway’s services to another level. This enables airlines’ investments in this sector to lay the groundwork for the operations of these aircraft on vertiports that are being developed digitally. This is an important step forward in making urban air mobility a reality and we are excited about the great innovations to come,” says Clifford Cruz, CEO of Skyway.
“Partnering with Skyway will help increase Eve’s visibility in the market as a software provider for Urban Air Mobility Service Providers and help everyone understand how to improve and advance UAM operations,” says Andre Stein, co-CEO of Eve. “We will study the use of Eve’s UATM solution for Skyway’s operations and develop an effective model for use in certain missions and regions.”
Eve’s UATM software is a solution agnostic that will enable the integration of all airspace users into the urban environment. This is key to providing safety, efficiency and improvement for the entire UAM ecosystem, including fleet operators and vertiports. This new partnership reinforces Eve and Skyway’s commitment to safely integrate and scale global UAM operations.
