Líder Aviação has expanded its Charter and Management Business Unit fleet to better serve this segment.
“By the end of the year, we expect to achieve a 45% expansion in our fleet of the Aircraft Charter and Management unit,” explains Bruna Assumpção, Managing Director of Líder Aviação. “With the resumption of the cultural, sporting and corporate events segment, Líder invested even more to continue to efficiently serve our customers, always with safety and excellence”, highlights the executive.
An example is the newest member of the company’s air cab fleet, a King Air C-90, which began operating about a month ago. This turboprop, one of the best-selling in the world, is extremely versatile for its ability to land on various types of runway – long, short, gravel, dirt, grass, asphalt. “This aircraft will contribute to further customize the air mobility of our customers in the charter segment,” explains Bruna. The aircraft complements the 18-aircraft fleet of the company’s Charter and Management Unit, also composed of other models such as HondaJet, Hawker 850XP, Phenom 100 and 300, Premier IA, Learjet 40 and 45, King Air B200GT, Airbus H145 helicopters, Agusta Grand New, among others.
“We have noticed a significant influx of new entrants in business aviation in recent years. That is, people who had never tried this modality are increasingly willing to invest in the benefits that the segment offers, such as greater capillarity in a country as extensive as Brazil, agility and practicality in shipments “, says Juliana Souza, director of Chartering and Aircraft Management at the company. “This movement started to happen since the beginning of the pandemic and has remained until now. To give you an idea, we recorded a 36% increase in hours flown in 2023 (January to June), compared to the same period in 2022 in air cab services”, she adds.
It is worth remembering that Líder is the first air cab operator in Brazil to have its own application, which allows you to quote and carry out the entire aircraft charter process, from booking to payment by cell phone in a practical, fast and secure way. Through this app, it is also possible to stay on top of empty legs offers and hire the group flight service – where the user does the entire operation via credit card or bank slip.
Líder also operates in the air ICU segment, with the availability of turboprop aircraft, jets and helicopters configured with advanced equipment for patient transportation. There are 50 years of experience in aeromedical transportation and more than 7,500 removals with total safety.
