São José dos Campos (SP) – The Brazilian Army took part in the 21st Meeting of Science, Technology and Innovation Projects of Interest to Defense (21st REPID), which was attended by authorities from the Science, Technology and Innovation Systems of the Single Forces, the Ministry of Defense (MD), the Executive Secretary of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MCTI), the President of the Financier of Studies and Projects (FINEP) and other experts in the field.
The 21st REPID was organized by the Brazilian Air Force and discussed project management, expanding the capabilities of the Armed Forces and strengthening the national Defence Industrial Base. The event took place between August 15 and 17 at the Department of Aerospace Science and Technology in São José dos Campos. The event included a series of lectures by science and technology experts, followed by debates and discussions. The Brazilian Army presented projects in the thematic areas of command and control and quantum technologies.
The Meeting
REPID is held annually under the coordination of the Science, Technology and Innovation Department of the Ministry of Defense’s Defense Products Secretariat. It is attended by authorities from the Ministry of Defense, the Armed Forces and the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation.
REPID is organized in rotation between the three forces. This edition is hosted by the Brazilian Air Force.
