The aerospace industry trade fair, internationally known as the Paris Air Show, held in the French capital, is considered the world’s largest event in the aviation industry. The traditional “Le Bourget Show” took place from June 19 to 26.

The delegation from the Aeronautics Command (COMAER) visited the EMBRAER stand, where there was a tribute to the Sesquicentennial of Alberto Santos Dumont, Father of Aviation and Patron of the Brazilian Air Force, who flew the 14-Bis, at Campo de Bagatelle, in Paris, in 1906.

The Air Force Commander also had the opportunity to visit the Chalet Brasil stand, where exhibitors from 16 important companies in the Brazilian defense industry are located. With members of the delegation, Air Lieutenant Brigadier Damasceno also participated in the H-225 (H-36 Caracal in FAB) Operators Meeting, with members of the Air Forces of France, Hungary, Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore.

The delegation also visited other Defense companies’ stands and watched the operational demonstration of several aircraft, with special emphasis on the KC-390 Millennium.
