In the period from May 16 to 18, the 2nd Parachute Marine Company from the 25th Parachute Infantry Battalion carried out Operation Tsunami, in Paty do Alferes (RJ).
The objective of the activity was to prepare the Company for Operation Boomerang, a training exercise in jungle operational environment, which will be carried out by the Parachute Infantry Cradle, in June, in the Amazon Military Command.
During the exercise days, the 2nd Parachute Marine Company used techniques, tactics and procedures of combat in jungle environment, day and night reflex action shooting, attack to a locality, and reorganization training for jumping over water masses in the Guandu River.
