Taurus, the world’s largest seller of small arms, continues to expand its 3rd generation pistol portfolio and launches the GX4 Carry Graphene T.O.R.O., which joins the innovative and multi-award-winning GX4 modular pistol platform.

The newest high-capacity subcompact has magazines for 15 and 17 rounds (pat. pend.), in 9mm caliber, and the Taurus Optic Ready Option (T.O.R.O.) system which, through an interchangeable plate, allows most of the optical sights available on the market to be accommodated, as well as having a standard Picatinny rail for accessories.

The version has parts injected in graphene and finished in Cerakote® Graphene, which brings all the benefits of this pioneering and exclusive Taurus technology, such as greater resistance and durability for the pistol.

The Taurus GX4 Carry Graphene T.O.R.O. has a Striker Fire firing system, a 3.7″ barrel coated with a layer of DLC (Diamond Like Carbon), a cutting-edge technology that increases the hardness of steel, as well as a polymer grip, a high-strength stainless steel internal chassis and a Cerakote®-coated bolt.

The model is ideal for concealed carry due to its dimensions, with an overall length of 6.56″ (166.5mm), a height of 5.19″ (131.7mm) and a width of 1.11″ (28.3mm).

Like all pistols in the GX4 family, it comes with interchangeable backstraps, meaning customers can adjust the size of the grip to suit their hand perfectly.

In keeping with the highest safety standards, the pistol is equipped with a striker lock, trigger lock and ammunition indicator in the chamber. The GX4 Carry Graphene T.O.R.O. also has the option of a magazine extension, sold separately.

In an evaluation carried out by Rob Reaser – author and co-author of several books on guns and also editor-in-chief of Shoot On, the main source of specialized news in the United States – the renowned expert stated that the GX4 is the most accurate microgun Shoot On has ever tested, and that the GX4 in the T.O.R.O. version maintains the high performance of its standard version.

Taurus has received more than 38 international awards and is the most imported brand in the demanding and competitive North American market. These recognitions confirm the relevance of the company’s products worldwide, especially in the US market (which absorbs more than 80% of its global sales), and give great visibility to the innovation, technology and quality used in production.
