Taurus and Companhia Brasileira de Cartuchos (CBC), Brazilian multinationals and the world’s leading arms and ammunition manufacturers, are attending DSEI 2023 (Defense & Security Equipment International), the UK’s leading trade fair for the defense and security sector. The event takes place between September 12 and 15, 2023, in London, England.

Recognized in Brazil and globally for their high standards of quality, and with a management focused on technology and innovation, TAURUS and CBC will present visitors with their extensive product portfolios and launches aimed at the defense and security segments, providing an excellent opportunity to expand relationships, establish partnerships and strengthen their global presence.

The companies’ stand, in the Brazil Pavilion, already welcomed important authorities and representatives from various countries in the first few days of the event, highlighting the innovative solutions and high Brazilian technology applied in the development of their products.

At DSEI 2023, Taurus presented models that make up the innovative GX4 modular pistol platform, such as the GX4 Carry Graphene T.O.R.O. pistol, a new, lighter, high-capacity subcompact pistol with magazines for 15 and 17 rounds in 9mm caliber, finished in Cerakote® Graphene, a 3.7″ barrel coated with pioneering DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) technology and the Taurus Optic Ready Option (T.O.R.O.) system which, through an interchangeable plate, allows optical sights to be accommodated, and a standard Picatinny rail for accessories.

It also exhibits the new GX4 XL T.O.R.O. pistol, with a longer bolt, 3.7″ inches long (the GX4 is 3″), a stainless steel barrel coated with DLC (Diamond Like Carbon), two grip and magazine options (with a capacity of 11 or 13 cartridges).

Also noteworthy are the pistols in the G3 line, including the new G3 Tactical pistol, with a 4.5″ barrel, ready to receive suppressors, magazines with a capacity of 17 rounds and Cerakote® finish in Patriot Brown, Od Green or Black.

Another important line of Taurus pistols on display is the TX22, made up of the Full Size, Competition and Compact versions, specially designed to meet the most rigorous demands of sport shooting in .22 LR caliber, already prepared to receive optical sights from various brands. The TX22 won the Handgun of the Year 2019 award from American magazine GUNS & AMMO for its exceptional design, reliable performance, diverse applications and low cost.

The brand is also exhibiting the 856 caliber .38 SPL revolver at the event, a model with a capacity of 6 rounds, a 3″ barrel, a satin stainless finish and individual adjustment of the firing mechanism, making it more precise. The absence of a dog thimble and its rubber grip with an exclusive anatomy make this model perfect for concealed carry.

Visitors will also be able to see models from the Rossi Taurus revolver range, recognized for their classic features and modern manufacturing techniques, including the RP63 revolver with a 3″ barrel and the RM66 revolver with a 6″ barrel. Both are finished in Cerakote® and have a 6-shot capacity in .38 SPL and .357 MAG calibers and a rubber grip.

In the line of long guns, Taurus is presenting the T9 MLOK rifle in 9x19m caliber, weighing just 2.292kg (without magazine) and 2.419kg (with magazine), with an 8″ barrel and a 32-shot capacity, scheduled for release in the second half of the year. And the T10 rifle in .308 Win/7.62×51 caliber in the Designated Rifleman version, weighing 3.96kg (without the magazine) and 4.12kg (with the magazine), 20″ barrel in 416R stainless steel (special steel used in precision weapons), Upper, Lower and MLOK handguard with Cerakote® coating and supplied with two magazines with a capacity of 20 shots and one with a capacity of 10 shots.

Also on display are various versions of the T4 rifle, in calibres 5.56 and .300BLK, internationally recognized models and widely used by various police, military and security institutions in Brazilian states and around the world, especially by NATO member countries, as they are considered extremely reliable, lightweight, easy to use and maintain weapons.

During DSEI 2023, Companhia Brasileira de Cartuchos (CBC) will be presenting its extensive catalog of military ammunition, made up of innovative, high-performance solutions, with a focus on rifles, including calibers such as 5.56x45mm, 7.62x51mm, 12.7x99mm (.50) and .300 Blackout for different applications, as well as medium calibers such as the 40x53mm high velocity, in training and operational versions, for use by the Brazilian and international Armed Forces.

Military ammunition in this category meets NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organization) specifications, which puts CBC on the same footing as the world’s leading defense ammunition manufacturers.

In the small arms segment, the brand will be showing visitors CBC cartridges in the calibers 9mm LUGER, .40SW and AUTO, .38 SPL and .45 AUTO.

TAURUS and CBC, long-time participants at DSEI, once again see the event as a great opportunity to present and showcase new products to business partners, delegations, defense and security institutions from various countries, demonstrating advances in technology and innovations in weapons and ammunition, as well as the diversity of products in their portfolios, with a view to prospecting substantial agreements, as well as promoting the expansion of sales on the international stage and boosting business opportunities for Brazil.
