Saab today signed a contract with the procurement authority of the Polish Ministry of Defense for the supply of armament, ammunition and training equipment for the Carl-Gustaf M4. The value of the order amounts to SEK 12.9 billion and the contract period is 2024 to 2027. The contract is expected to come into force before the end of the second quarter of 2024.

“I am proud of our close relationship with the Polish Armed Forces and that Saab can continue to strengthen Poland’s ground combat capability and national defense with our world-leading Carl-Gustaf system,” said Saab CEO and President Micael Johansson.

The contract is expected to enter into force by the end of the second quarter of 2024, subject to the fulfillment of certain external conditions.

Saab’s Carl-Gustaf is a portable, multifunctional weapon system with a wide range of ammunition types, making it suitable for a variety of tasks.
